Randy and I took last Thursday off and drove to Vernal. We were picking up a bi/fuel truck and Randy won on a silent bid auction from Questar. Hopefully it will be a truck that Erin can use when she gets a part-time job or for when she has school activities. It was filthy inside and out but it has a lot of potential.
On the way home we stopped at a place called Taggart's that we heard from my mom and brother has great food and they were right. Outside the window that we were sitting by there were a male and female peacock, so we took some pics with the cell phone. Then when we were leaving the female peacock was standing right by the door so we snapped a couple more. She kept walking towards us and scared me a bit.
Turned out to be a great day and I was glad to get to spend some time with Randy.
Hi Margie...It's Monica. So exciting for Erin on the new truck!! Also, had to comment on Taggart's. That is one of our favorite places to eat. In fact, we went there on Mother's Day. They have the BEST desserts! Of course, we always get them to go. No way you can eat one after all the good food. Isn't the atmosphere cool there?
