Randy got the chance to take off last Friday and go snowmobiling with some friends. Someone took some great pictures of him so here they are.

Sophie is 11 today. Now we have no kids in the house anymore. Only tweeners and teens.

I remember the first day I met her at the zoo. At first she was really shy and didn't say much but once I started talking to her about my dog she started warming up to me. By the end of the day she was holding my hand and sitting next to me.

Birthday Dinner

So last night we had dinner at Ligori's in Layton for Sophie's birthday since she won't be here on her birthday. Randy's parents didn't make it and Penny had car trouble and couldn't make it either. So it was just Randy, me, the kids and my mom and brother. But we still had a great time.

Randy gave Sophie a Violin for her birthday. It was really beautiful.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my friends and family. May this year be filled with wonderful memories for each and everyone of you. Hope you all had a great night last night. And safe. We had a lot of fun.

We just stayed home and played on the WII and Garrison got a Kinex (not sure if I spelled that right) so he showed us that too. I didn't play on it but it looks like lots of fun. Austin went to his girlfriends house but Erin was here with Sophie and Garrison and Erin's boyfriend Jeff came over after he got off work. Randy was given a ham from work for Christmas so we cooked that up and had a great dinner. Even Sophie liked the ham and went for seconds and she usually won't eat any ham. We will be eating it for a while because it was really big. Good thing we all like it.

Yesterday afternoon we went to see the movie Tangled with all the kids and my mom went too. It was a really cute movie and I will for sure get it when it comes out of dvd.

Not much going on the rest of the weekend for us. Probably going to put down the Christmas decorations and Randy and I have a game tonight.
