Snow Day at Camp Utaba

I forgot about this until Rebecca reminded me. So we went to Camp Utaba for a Snow Day the beginning of February. Rebecca, Jackie and John went. My mom came up and we all came except for Sophie. She decided she didn't want to go. We sure missed her.
Everybody seemed to have a great time on the snowmobiles and sleds.

Austin turning 20???? How the Heck did that Happen so Fast????
I'm not ready for this yet.

Austin has been doing really well. He is working at my work in production. I get nothing but praise about him from the Supervisors and Managers. He also just certified in MIG welding at school.

I am so proud of you Austin. You are such a great kid and I am lucky to have you in my life.

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY

Randy's grandmother passed away early Monday morning.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.



JoAnn W. Matthies
1918 - 2010

JoAnn Matthies was born in Sunset Utah, August 5, 1918, the daughter of Thomas Whittaker and Annie Keller. She was in advertising at ZCMI, Auerbach's, and J.C. Penny's. She also worked in public relations at American Minerals.

She is survived by her children John, James, Scott, Jackie Shoop, JoAnna Heidi LaRue, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Charles Matthies and her daughter Julie Matthies.

She passed away at Bennion Care Center on February 8, 2010. The family wished to thank the many caring people there who took such good care of her.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 13th at 3:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Cemetary, 3401 South Highland Drive. Evans and Early Funeral Directors.
