Sheee's BACK

Erin made it back from Texas. I didn't know if I should give her a big hug first or a kick in the butt. She called me about a 1/2 hour before she was supposed to leave for the airport and told me she misplaced her new wallet with her drivers permit and ATV license in it. She was still able to get on the plane without ID because she is under 18. But it was a little stressful for a bit.
She was I think the most happy about being able to sleep in her own bed again. Too bad for her it was only for one night because we are leaving for camping tomorrow.

HAPPY B-DAY GARRISON

Webfetti.com

It is so hard to believe that Garrison is 11 years old. I remember when I first met him and he was just a little boy. He is growing up so fast. We are going to wait until he gets his cast off (hopefully in 3 weeks) to have a party. I think he wants to go bowling and that might be a little hard in a cast.

Great job Sophie

Webfetti.com

Sophie did a great job in school this year. She was on the High Honor Roll and the Honor Roll and she won Presidential Award for Fitness and was the only third grader to win. Awesome. Sophie got 2 A's and the rest were A+'s.

Happy Father's Day

Just a few comments on the dads I know. First John Houser, Erin and Austin's dad. You are a great dad and I appreciate knowing that you are always there for your kids. I am so glad we are able to get along so well. Jim Shoop, my Father-in-law. I am so glad that I am lucky enough to be part of your family and be your Daughter-in-law. John Holm, my brother. You are a great guy always willing to help out and you are a great Step-dad to Jackie. Frank Holm, my dad. I love you and miss hanging out with you. I will always picture in my mind the time you were crawling around on your hands and knees in your backyard chasing Austin around when he had just learned to walk. And last but not least, Randy Shoop. My husband and Garrison and Sophie's dad. You are such a wonderful person I feel so blessed to be part of your life. You are such a great dad to Sophie and Garrison.
To all the other Dads out there. My Uncles and Cousins. I hope you have a great day.
Love you all

Erin has left the building

Well my baby girl left for Texas on Saturday. Her friend Kelsey goes to visit her dad every summer in Odessa Texas and Erin was invited to go with her this time to spend a couple of weeks. It was a hard decision to make to let her go, but she has done so well in school this year I thought she deserved it.

Erin Ninth Grade Dance

It was Erin's ninth grade dance last night. Her friend Kelsey came home with her after school so they could get ready together. These pics are before and after the dance. They switched dresses at school half way through the dance for some reason.
Erin did gets some pics at the dance and I will post them when I get them.

Garrison's BooBoo

Poor Garrison broke his wrist and scuffed up his face and knees this weekend at his mom's. I guess he was riding his bike with no hands and hit a bump. His knees are all bandaged up and he is wearing a half cast at the moment.
That is going to put a damper on his summer. It is his right wrist so he won't be able to drive the four wheelers when we go camping. On the bright side he only has a week left of school to write left handed.
