Well we just got back from California a couple of days ago. We spent a week down there and apparently missed the big snow storm in Utah. Yahoo. I don't mind that. It was cold the first couple of days and then rainy a couple of days and then it cleared up and was nice weather the rest of the week. We didn't mind the rain because it kept the people away so the lines were not as long.
On Sunday the 15Th we went to Universal Studios. We went to the Special Effects tour and Austin was asked to be a volunteer. He was grinning the whole time. Then we watched the Blue's Brothers band and they pulled Sophie and Garrison up on the stage to dance. They looked scared to death to go up but they did it anyway.
On Monday the 16Th we went to Disneyland. It was rainy so we decided to go on the indoor rides. We were able to get in pretty quickly on all the rides we wanted. We got our pics taken with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
On Tuesday the 17th we went to Sea World. It rained the whole drive from our RV park to Sea World but when we got there it cleared up and turned out to be a great day. We got to see the shows and do some rides.
On Wednesday the 18th we headed back to Disneyland and we also went to California Adventures. It was a little busier but we were still able to get on the rides pretty quickly. My favorite ride is the new Toy Story ride and we went on it a couple of times.
On Thursday the 19th we went to Knots Berry Farm. Me and Austin didn't like it as much as everyone else. It is mostly rollercosters and we don't like those too much. After the park closed we went to the Knots Berry Farm Restaurant and enjoyed the boysenberry jelly and chicken.
On Friday the 20th, Austin's B-day, we went back to Disneyland and California Adventures. He got a giftcard for $69 from Disneyland because we went on his birthday. He bought quite a few things with it. It was a lot busier on Friday but we still got on a lot of rides.
Saturday the kids went swimming for a little bit while we got things ready to go. We headed out around noon Utah time. Randy was doing okay driving so we came all the way home instead of stopping for the nite. We got home at 4am on Sunday morning. Everyone was tired but it was nice to have a day to get everything situated before going back to work and school.
All in all it turned out to be a great trip. CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN.
